The room was quiet despite the busy location and the beds very comfortable. Staff were most helpful in dealing with any issue. Because of its size, it was often difficult to find room in an elevator. |

The Location of the hotel was excellent for shopping as it was very central to Oxford Street. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was disappointing in terms of decor and size as it was far too small. I had to pay 60 sterling for an upgrade to a double room. The lady at the reception informed me that I will get a Deluxe Double against the extra paid amount - I did not find much deluxe about the room.It was the smallest room I have ever seen. There was no wardrobe and nowhere to put my suitcase. |

Very central to Oxford Street. Stayed there years ago,there has been a major make over and it is much improved. the lobby bar is very nice and the Carbon Bar in the basement is also good. Staff very helpful. |

The spacious Lobby, the Art and the location Breakfast served in the restaurant was not rich, with a big variety as the well known English Breakfast so no value for the money charged. Conti- nental Breakfast served in the room was really a disaster an empty tray for a a full charge. A Shower cup and a sewing kit are not available unless you ask for it is there a reason ? |

The Location of the Cumberland was excellent for shopping and sightseeing. You could pick up an open top bus directly accross from the hotel for sightseeing. This hotel was a very busy spot which I would compare to an airport.The foyer was ultra modern but the rooms were disapointing in decor but functional.On the site you had the opportunity of reserving a standard twin or a delux twin at a higher price. however the staff were unaware that they had two types of twin rooms as they said all their rooms were the same. therefore do not reserve a delux. |

When we first arrived their was a problem with the booking I had booked for 2 couples for 2 nights but it was down as 1 coiuple for 2 nights and one couple for 1 night. The TV did not work and even after it was reported and repaired once it did not work again that same night. |
