Hotel information

Quite simply, pure Dutch design inspires. Both nationally and internationally, there is great appreciation for the strong original shapes, pragmatic input and use of new materials. The casual light approach of Dutch designers is positively inspiring.

With Dutch design, Artemis Amsterdam gives some extra colour to the West-Ring. The combination of Dutch design, creative lighting effects and tastefully warm layout creates an inspired environment in an informal atmosphere. A prominent feature is important Dutch elements, among which, items of furniture and modern art such as modern Delft Blue.

Dutch architectural style is also present in the interior design. The high doors and halls with the asymmetric and geometric elements reflect the Dudok style.

Food & beverage

Restaurant-Bar De Stijl -

This spacious restaurant is suitable for both an informal lunch or a cosy dinner. From a quick snack to a more substantial meal, there is something for everybody. The creative use of alcoves, couches and comfortable chairs create a stylish but relaxing atmosphere. In the kitchen, the Chef and his team play enthusiastically with the surprising aspects of food design.

The welcoming bar is centrally located and is an ideal spot for enjoying a drink. The partly covered and heated, large waterside terrace is especially good in the summer months for a dinner, drink or an event.

On 8 floors, this hotel has a total of 256 rooms. The creative use of materials and colours gives a warm, welcoming atmosphere to all of the comfortable rooms.

All rooms are fitted with the most modern facilities for your comfort.

The wall between room and room is too thin, and I could hear the sound and voice from next room.

This hotel made special offer Eur 120 for 2 nights without breakfast, it is good price considering 4 stars' hotel. Room is enough wide, and good equipment. They prepared "smoking roosm"!, this was a nice surprise for me.

The nearest tram station of line "2" is a bit far from the hotel, it is about 10 min working distance. But, tram line 2 is directly bound for central station, it was convenient. I can't find another negative things.

the room, the facilities...i.e., free wifi, room is big and clean, really worth the money paid...

The location, but there's nothing you can do about it...however, the area is very safe, and it is easy to catch bus/tram... no big deal for us

Clean, modern hotel. Free internet. Free Coffee. Beautiful design. Extremely comfortable beds.

Charge for parking (€15.60) & general location (away from Centrum and public transportation), but we clearly understood both these in advance.

The room was clean and comfortable with a good bath.

The information provided is slightly misleading concerning its location, it is mentioned that it is near the Olympic Stadium and close to the Centre. This was the main reason for selecting this Hotel as I was to run the Marathon race. So we were a bit fustrated that in reality it is a few kilometers from the Stadium - not walking distance - and a good 40 minutes by Metro from downtown Amsterdam.

arrived on Friday evening and on check-in a charge of over €400 was levied against my credit card for "any extras" / Room did not lock - Advised receprion 3 times & nothing done/ Mini Bar was not available/ Room was not serviced until 18:00/ Car park fees are misleading as I was charged almost €30 for parking on Saturday despite the Hotel claiming €15.60 per day parking fees

The relation price-value is very good. The only disadvante is that it is a little far away from the centre, but there is a tram that takes you to the hotel. On the other hand it is very near the airport, great if you have to leave the city early in ther morning.

Very nice beds!

Location was not very fast to reach, but still easy enough with tram 2. Combined with the comfort and value of the room, one cannot complain about this :)
