location , so close to the train station rooms are so small , a twin bed room is less than 13 square mtr + bathroom , felt like i'm in prison ! it was difficult to find a place for our bag in the luggage room , so small for such a busy hotel ... |

It's very very near Amsterdam central train station. They didn't offer us hairdryer and coffee maker. For hairdryer, we have to ask at the front desk. |

The location was excellent, right in the city centre. Right beside the train station, tram stop and pier. Restaurants, cafes and shops are very nearby. My room was overlooking the river, so it had a lovely view. The staff was friendly. I found vending machines located in the hotel very useful, especially when you need some snacks in the middle of the night. It would have been nice if we had a kettle in the room, so that we can make hot drinks in our room. |

New and comfortable rooms, excellent bathroom, great central location, and friendly helpful staff. 50 euro deposit taken on arrival. Had not budgeted for this. Wasn't advised in advance that this would happen. |

the hotel is perfect for central station and the tram, metro and bus network. the hotel is also very convenent for dam sq and red light district. |

New and modern, elevator building (important in Amsterdam!). The location is, literally, above the Centraal Rail Station. We had a view of trains and the boats just beyond. However, this might not be to some people's tastes, so if not, request a room facing the city. The review lower down is backwards... Face the city, not the station. With the construction in front of the hotel and the train station, walking over to the entrance, at this time, can be a little annoying. Also, Amsterdam has so many bicycles, they are all over the sidewalk, including in front of the hotel, and on hotel property, it's really annoying. |

The New wing is much improved, fresh bedrooms, contemporary, central location especially in cold wet weather, all is near. The refurbishments have been dragging on, still parts not completed, Partly a building site. Rates are very high for such a basic hotel, unless you get a late deal. |

The hotel location was right next to the train station with trains and buses and canal boats right outside the door. But because of this, the noise was unbearable! If you stay here, ask for a room that faces away from the city. There is a brand new building. Rooms were very small, bathroom the size of a cruise ship bathroom. Noisy near elevator and vending machines. People were loud. NOISY--great location but request a room in the new building facing away from the city. Taxi cabs were honking all night long due to the taxi stand right outside our window. Also, request away from the elevator and vending machines. Loud noisy people all night long. Hotel under construction. Unfriendly staff, no concierge. Location great and worth staying there because of it. 150 Euro/night |
