Hotel information

As a guest of the Hotel Mitland, you have free access to the swimming pool, the sauna and the Turkish baths. The swimming pool and sauna have many facilities, such as foot baths, showers and a (cold) immersion bath. For a small fee, you may also make use of the jacuzzis and the 2 separate sunbeds.

The very best feature, however, is the marvellous view over the waters of De Bilt fortress.

Food & beverage

In addition to the characteristic à la carte restaurant, the hotel offers the possibility to enjoy a (raclette) stone grill in the Waterleliezaal (Water Lily Room).

For groups there are rich and attractive menus and buffets available.

The trendy brasserie is also ideal for business meetings, thanks to its wireless internet connection.

Room information

All rooms have private bathrooms with a separate shower and bath. Most rooms have a balcony.

Especially take note of the rooms with a wonderful view of the old De Bilt fortress and the surrounding water.

An excellent hotel that is warm and friendly, the rooms are good and the food is first class. The staff, particularly at reception were excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. My friend and myself will definitely return again in 2009.

The Hotel was overbooked, and had tried to move me to another hotel for one night (2 nights were booked). I made a fuss about this matter, and was finally accomodated, but not in the Double room booked, but in a Twin room. I was re-roomed correctly on the second night.

Nice view, good food.

Dirty curtains in the room, filthy chairs in the restaurant room... Oh, and having to pay 7.5€ per day for the parking is a bit over the top...

The location is very good and the room was very comfortable; nice staff who were very helpful

The food was only average and although the staff indicated that they were clear about gluten intolerance, the reality was not so reassuring (I was served a sauce which was not gluten free - I spotted it and asked and then they took it away, but they should have picked it up before bringing it to the table because I had already discussed it with the staff).

It was located in a lovely place by a lake, the staff were very helpful and friendly, was clean quiet and comfortable, and the food was excellent and plentifull so we had no need to look elsewhere, as for value for money it was better than some of the more luxury hotels we have stayed in around the world,
